Happy holidays!
It’s a busy time of year, so my post will be short this week.
First, I want to send a special thank you to all of my clients who took advantage of my Black Friday offer. You’ve been keeping me busy these last couple of weeks, and my schedule for the new year is already filling up. Thank you!
If you haven’t yet taken me on as an editor, I’d like to explain exactly what the process involves. In three simple steps, I transform your manuscript from a work in progress that needs some love to a polished final draft that is complete and ready to submit—saving you time and energy.

There are no surprises; you’ll know the cost up front.

Consider it done
Tackle the rest of your to-do list or spend time with family.
Step 1: Message us. Let us know what you’re working on and how we can help.
- Do you need us to revise your references to a new citation style?
- Would your text benefit from a proofread by a second set of eyes?
- Or are you looking for more guidance on how to get published, identify an appropriate journal or book publisher, and draft a book proposal or cover letter?
We can help with all of this; just let us know what you need.

Step 2: Approve our quote. When you send us a draft of your document—it doesn’t have to be complete—we’ll write a quote to fit your needs and budget. You’ll know exactly what you’ll pay upfront, and the balance isn’t due until editing is complete. Once you approve the quote, we’ll get started polishing your text.
Step 3: Consider it done. Having us revise your document frees you up to tackle other responsibilities. This is especially important this time of year because I know you have other grading, writing, and family events to spend your time on.

When we edit your writing, you’re no longer burdened by the minutiae of editing, formatting, and citing those last few references. You have more time and less stress. Moreover, you can trust us with your work. Since I became a copy editor, I’ve revised over 60 books and more than 1,000 documents for faculty and graduate students at universities all over the world.
We’re here to help you accomplish your goals, get published faster, and restore work-life balance. Let’s get started today. Message us now, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Happy holidays to you and yours,
Paulina
